Customer

The needs of our customers are the focus of all our employees' thoughts and actions. Being customer-focused means to us integrating your needs and wishes into our work and fulfilling them to your complete satisfaction. Many years of experience in the manufacture of our products have taught us all about the specific features and challenges of the beverage industry. Meeting these calls for a manufacturer that can act flexibly, independently and on its own authority, which we, as an SME company with short lines of command, are able to do in optimum fashion. Our combination of experience and flexibility enables us to develop innovative and individual product solutions for our customers time and time again.

We are seeing a trend towards customers critically scrutinizing the actions of companies, especially of their suppliers, and actively seeking dialogue. Our aim is to respond to this growing awareness with comprehensive reporting. Our objective is to make the requirements within the supply chain a focus of our commitment over the next few years and to increase transparency step by step.

Employees

As the path to customer satisfaction is paved in no small way by having happy employees who identify with the company, we also place great importance on a trusting relationship with our staff, based on partnership and a good working environment.

We firmly believe that our employees, with their daily commitment to our company, their expertise, their personality, and their enthusiasm for our products, are the foundation of our company's success. As a family business, we are aware of our responsibility towards them. Their protection, their personal and professional development and their motivation represent a central task to which we must continue to align our future corporate development. We are proud to have been on this path with many of them for 25 years and more and to be able to pass on many years of experience in commercial and technical training to our junior staff. Individual and family-friendly working hours, active support for further training and joint external activities ensure a harmonious working atmosphere among all employees.

Sustainability

Sustainability is an important part of our corporate principles. We see maintaining the environment around us in good order not only as our responsibility in relation to nature and society, but also as a driving force for innovation and efficiency. The standards that we set ourselves in this regard are anchored in our detailed sustainability guidelines.

Especially when it comes to the sustainable recycling of materials, we see ourselves as being in a continuous improvement process. Through our membership of ‘recrate e.V.’, we ensure resource-efficient and environmentally friendly further processing of materials within the multi-use system. In this way, waste can be avoided and plastic can be recycled on a closed-loop basis. The ‘recrate’ association monitors the legally required proof of how materials are being used.

Location

The continuous development of our products and of all our company processes at the site is an integral part of our corporate strategy.

By expanding our production capacity, we are committing ourselves to our German location and thus to the "Made in Germany" seal of quality. Secure jobs and fair working conditions are important to us, which is why we are committed to our place of origin. Since our company was founded, Oberland products have been manufactured in the immediate vicinity of today's Verallia Saint-Gobain Oberland AG. Company founder Wilhelm Götz also started the production of beverage crates in Bad Wurzach in order to facilitate synergies such as integrated packaging concepts for crates and bottles as well as common transportation routes. To this day, the close partnership represents high added value for our customers.

Quality

High-quality products do not come from post-production checking, but from constant care and attention throughout the production process. While consumers decide on packaging based on its design and practicality, we are constantly working "behind the scenes" on product development based, among other factors, on external regulations, in accordance with which regular certifications to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and DIN EN ISO 50001:2018 take place, as well as certifications of the standards of our customer audits.

We do not see quality as a single measure to be taken. Rather, it results from a transparent process that we aim to continuously enhance in partnership with our employees, customers and suppliers. 

The quality policy is made available by the management for relevant interested parties.
